PDF Instructions & Troubleshooting
PDF  files and Data Sheets require Adobe Acrobat Reader,

Many of the pages on this CD are in the PDF format. Click here if you do not already have Acrobat PDF reader software installed on your computer and would now like to install it. This will install version 5.00 of Acrobat PDF reader software from this CD onto your computer.

Remember that many PDF files are here for printing purposes. If you are looking at a PDF file on your screen, you may have to zoom in with the "magnifying glass" to see the document clearly.
 
How to download PDF:
For PC users using Internet Explorer (later versions): If the PDF file has displayed on the screen, then click on the floppy icon on the Acrobat tool bar. Name the file and then click 'save' button. To open double click on the file you just downloaded on your computer.
For PC users using Internet Explorer (later versions): To download the PDF file without displaying on the screen, Right click on the link and choose 'Save Target As...' Name the file and then click 'save' button. To open double click on the file you just downloaded on your computer.
For PC users using Internet Explorer (early versions): Click on Link
For PC users using Netscape: Right click on Link "Save Link As..."; To open double click on the file you just downloaded on your computer.
For Mac users using Netscape: Hold down Control & click on Link "Save Link As..."; To open double click on the file you just downloaded on your computer
For Mac users using Internet Explorer: Click on Link
Printing Problem:
PDF text & fonts may not always print as they appear on-screen.
Solution:
 1. Click on the 'Properties' button of the 'Print' dialog box
 2. Click on 'Print Quality' tab.
 3. Make sure that 'TrueType as Bitmaps' is selected
     under the 'Text Mode' section.
Acrobat quick tips:
Some browser versions have difficulty starting the Acrobat reader.   If you encounter this problem, then just start the Acrobat reader before trying to view or download a . pdf file.
Using the Acrobat software: to search for data within the file click on the icon with the 'binocular' symbol. Do not use your browsers 'find' menu item as it does not work within Acrobat files.
Finding the next occurrence of the word (For Acrobat reader versions [2.01], [3.01]):
Press Ctrl +G, (Windows and UNIX) or Command (Macintosh) +G, or reopen the Find dialog box and click Find Again. Within Windows, pressing F3 also finds the next occurrence of the word. You will be prompted to loop around to the beginning of the document if you start the process on any page other than the first page.
[3.01]: the smaller 'binocular' symbol with an arrow can also be used to find the next occurrence of the word.
Close Window
To close the window, use the 'Close Window' button or hold down Alt F4 in IE, or simply click the X in top right of your screen in Netscape.
