DISGO is an innovative corrosion prevention process designed for fasteners requiring high torque-tension characteristics without concern for hydrogen embrittlement. As this process does not use any acid or any electrolytic treatment, it avoids the possibility of hydrogen embrittlement. Furthermore, with the operation temperature being below 200 Celsius, the original characteristics of parts are not affected.
DISGO process contains, as its main ingredient, the powdered zinc which is fabricated through technology-proven technique, epoxy of the most excellent corrosion resistance for its base paint, and substance of high acid or chemical resistance for its surface coating. The combination of features of this surface treatment can effectively prevent the metallic parts from being rusted. As this process uses no chrome, it enables the corrosion resistance feature without the concern of hydrogen embrittlement.
