ANSI Standard Roller Chains are manufactured to ISO 606, ANSI B29.1 and DIN 8188. Products are available both in riveted and cottered constructions, and carbon steel and stainless steel (from #35SS to #120SS, AISI 304 or 316) in single and multiple strands. Attachments for short pitch roller chain include SK1, BK1, SK2, BK2, SH1, BH1, SH2, BH2, SD, or according to customers' requirements.

1. #25 and #35 are short pitch precision bush chains, sometimes they are respectively referred as 04C and 06C. Relevant standards include ISO 1395, ANSI B29.1M, NFE 26-104, DIN 8154, JIS B1801.
2. ANSI standard short pitch precision roller chains with various attachments are usually called as Attachment Chains. The following attachments apply to both ANSI and BS/DIN short pitch precision roller chains.
3. Spring clip type connecting links (CL) are available for all single and multiple strand ANSI standard chain from 80 and below and British standard chain from 16B and below. Cotter type connecting links are available for all single and multiple strand ANSI 80 and above, and British standard 16B and above. An offset link (OL) is a combination of a roller link and a pin link. This link is used where the chain is used when the chain length is an odd number of pitches. It is recommended not to use an offset link whenever possible. Two pitch offset link consists of one offset and one roller link. Pins are press fitted into the link plates and the unit is more suitable for heavy impact load and high speed driving than one pitch offset.
4. Conversion Formula: 1 daN=1.02 kgf, 1 meter=3.2808 feet, 1 kg=2.205 lbs.
