SSG-800 Series Instructions:

1. Thread rivet nut onto the mandrel.
(Note– the socket head cap screw should extend at least one full thread beyond the end of the rivet nut)

2. Insert rivet nut into the work piece.

3. Depress the trigger at the “F” position until the gun stalls, fully installing the rivet nut.

4. Depress the trigger at the “R” position, disengaging the 800 series tool from the rivet nut. 

Quick Tips

  • Quick release head set allows for easy head set change without the use of tools.
  • When ordering a Spin/Spin Pneumatic tool, note the tool part number and the desired thread size.
  • We recommend the use of a filter, pressure regulator and oiler system when operating any Spin/Spin Pneumatic tool.
  • Different grip ranges may require different length socket head cap screws.
  • Check periodically for mandrel wear and lubricate the bearing set with a high temperature bearing grease.
